Inclusion Begins with You!

Donate Now

Last year, we served more than 4,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and professionals and allies supporting them. We helped people secure housing and navigate special education services, access social services and healthcare, develop personal skills through innovative programs, and live their best lives in the community.

This important work is only possible because of generous donors like you.

Our work is not done. There are 36,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in King County, and many are not receiving needed support. Adults are isolated and children segregated. We will continue to serve and work to build inclusive communities so we can all thrive.

Your donation ensures this important work continues. There are many ways to give. In addition to a check or an on-line gift on this site, a contribution of non-cash assets is also a great way to support The Arc of King County while maximizing your tax benefits! Options include donating:

  • Publicly traded stock
  • Grants from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
  • Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) through your IRA (for those 70½ and older)

If you would like to make a gift of stock through your broker, please contact us at development@arcofkingcounty.org with the following information. This will ensure that we correctly process and acknowledge your gift.

  • Your name
  • Contact information
  • Name of stock and approximate number of shares
  • Estimated date of transfer
  • Your broker’s name, company and telephone number

We will then be in touch to provide you with instructions for your broker.

Thank you for your support!
