Why be a member?
75 years ago, The Arc of King County started as a grassroots organization of members who wanted to improve the lives of children with disabilities. We are still a grassroots organization and your voice contributes to our strength. Your membership allow us to have a vote at The Arc of the US. Becoming a member helps keep our services free.
Who can be a member?
Anyone can be a member! History has shown that a collective voice has considerable influence, so we have no restrictions on who can be a member of The Arc of King County.
We ask that members make a $25 contribution to help cover the cost of our membership and awareness fund. This will insure that all members have a voice, regardless of their ability to pay. We ask that those who can pay help support those that cannot.
What are the benefits?
- Membership At The State and National Arcs
- A Vote At The Arc of King County
- Leadership Opportunities

- A Strong Voice
How does it work?
Membership is valid for one year. We ask that a $25 contribution be made to help cover the cost of membership; this will ensure that all members have a voice, regardless of their ability to pay membership dues.
