Auditory
Integration Training (AIT) reduces the degree of acoustic sensory
distortions perceived by the client - new and somehow controversial
therapy involving desensitizing to certain sounds, for people with
auditory processing delays and/or diagnosed with autism, autistic-like
behaviors, attention deficit disorder, dyslexia, learning disabilities,
and other non-specific hearing sensitivities.
