Who is Eligible for Senior Family Caregiver Support at The Arc of King County?

1.  The family member with developmental disabilities must reside in King County (or is considering moving there) and may:

  • Be any age
  • Have no residential funding through the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
  • Live in a family home or nearby residence supported by the family.
  • Have Medicaid Personal Care (MPC) services.
  • Reside in an Adult Family Home.
  • Have a day program.
  • Have Family Support, including respite care and/or,
  • Be on the Waiting List.

2.  The family or primary caregiver:

  • Is at least 60 years old if a parent.
  • May be younger if a relative caregiver (grandparent, sibling, grandchild, etc.).

3.   Extended family members concerned about older family members who are providing help may also be on the mailing list.
