How can the Family Support 360° program help my family?

The Family Support 360° program can help your family:

  • Set goals and develop a plan

    • Develop a comprehensive Family Centered Plan to prioritize your family's needs, set objectives and benchmarks and work toward achieving them.

  • Gain information

    • Gain access to local, state and federal resources

    • Get assistance to navigate the service system

    • Make use of a wide range of materials on community resources, public services, and disability information

  • Get Connected

    • Take advantage of various opportunities to meet other families, share information and support each other
  • Expand your knowledge and skills

    • Attend trainings and workshops on topics important to you and other families

Can my family participate in the Family Support 360°?

Does your family:

  • Care for children or adults with developmental disabilities (autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, epilepsy, for example) and

  • Live in South or Southeast Seattle?

If so, contact us!  All families are welcome, but priority will be given to African American, Latinos/Hispanics, and Vietnamese.

How can my family receive services from Family Support 360°?

It is easy!  Please register online and we will contact you.  Remember that services are on a first come first serve basis, so register soon!

Why will my family be working with a Family Support 360° Navigator?

Your family will be working with a Family Support 360° Navigator, or person uniquely assigned to your family, who shares your same culture and language, to assist your family to identify your unique needs of support, develop a comprehensive Family Centered Plan to set objectives and a plan of action, and gain access to resources and relevant sources of support.

The Navigator will help your family gain information, get connected to other families and resources, and will support you in what your family needs!

What does the Family Support 360° Advisory Committee do & who's on it?

The Family Support 360° Advisory Committee provides mentorship to the leadership of the Family Support 360° Program (FS360°).  The Advisory Committee guides the FS360° leaders by providing advice, insight and feedback regarding the Program's strategy, implementation and evaluation.  The committee also provides counsel on the opportunities and challenges facing people with developmental disabilities and their families.

The Advisory Committee is comprised of:

  • Individuals with developmental disabilities 

  • Family members of individuals with developmental disabilities

  • Leaders from the communities served

  • Professionals from various fields, including education, health, advocacy, social services, among others.

  • Representatives from faith-based organizations, non-profits, businesses and government
