Partners of the Family Support 360° Program

The Arc of King County has partnered with the following organizations to work collectively for the Family Support 360° Program:

Asian Counseling and Referral Services (ACRS) ACRS offers a broad array of services and behavioral health programs to Asian Pacific Americans in King County.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound is the largest mentoring organization in Washington State, serving over 2,600 children annually in King, Pierce, Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam counties.  Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound helps children build the attitudes and behaviours needed to stay in school, succeed academically, make healthy choices, and create promising futures.  By matching children with adult mentors in one-to-one relationships, we trasnsform the life of a child.  For more information about these programs, Community-Based Mentoring & School-Based Mentoring, please visit www.bbbsps.org.

Childcare Resources promotes school readiness, a stable community and equity for children by building a quality child care system.

Conexion Contigo is a Spanish-speaking radio program on KXPA 1540 AM (9am-10am) started by Lupita Zamora that promotes resources and helps the Latin community stay informed. Contact Conexion Contigo at 206-397-2995. 

Consejo - Consejo Counseling and Referral Service is one of the largest behavioral health agencies in Washington.  Their bilingual and bicultural staff provides culturally-competent services designed to enhance client strengths and address the diverse needs of adults, children, adolescents and families in Latino communities across the state. East African Community Services is an inclusive organization that is dedicated to improving the well-being and quality of life of Somali and other East African refugees and their families in King County, and to preserve their diverse cultural heritage. Father's Network - The need for accurate and up-to-date resources when raising a child with special needs is paramount. Indeed, information is power. The more you know, the more you can take charge and bring about positive outcomes for your child and your family.

Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center acts for justice in the church and in the world.  IPJC is sponsored by sixteen religious communities and collaborates with Catholic, ecumenical, interfaith and other organizations in carrying out this mission.  To contact IPJC, email ipjc@ipjc.org or call 206.223.1138.

Lutheran Community Services Northwest Partners with individuals, families and communities of all ages, cultures and faith to promote health, justice and hope.  Contact Lutheran Community Services Northwest at 206-816-3241.

Nguoi Viet Tay Bac is the oldest and longest-running Vietnamese language newspaper in the Northwest. It covers news stories about social issues, the economy, politics, and culture relevant to the community.

Odessa Brown Children's Clinic - Located in Seattle's Central District, Odessa Brown Children's Clinic provides medical, dental, and mental health care under one roof to all families regardless of their ability to pay.  Odessa Brown Children's Clinic is an enduring community partner with a dedication to promoting quality pediatric care, family advocacy, health collaboration, mentoring and education in a culturally relevant context.

Saigon Radio is the first and only 24-hour Vietnamese Broadcasting System in Washington that promotes resources and helps the Vietnamese community stay informed.

Seattle Children’s Hospital-Project SEARCH Program - Project SEARCH is an innovative program at Seattle Children's aimed at providing employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.  Since the initial commitment was made, 31 individuals with developmental disabilities have become employed by Seattle Children’s hospital in well-paid jobs.  Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, 206-987-3208.

Senior Services promote positive aging for thousands of seniors and their families each year through their integrated system of quality programs and senior centers.

SOAR - SOAR is a community coalition dedicated to building partnerships that support the healthy development and success of children, youth and families in King County. SOAR connects, convenes and catalyzes communities around common goals and strategies and strives to create alignment between systems, sectors, organizations, providers and practice.  Contact SOAR at 206-336-6930.

Somali American Autism Support (SAAS)'s mission is to raise awareness and assist Somali parents with children with autism to find available resources, as well as to find out why so many Somali kids born in Seattle, WA are being diagnosed with Autism.

Vietnamese Friendship Association - The Vietnamese Friendship Association (VFA) non-profit organization that serves the Greater Seattle Area.  The mission of VFA is to empower the Vietnamese community to succeed, while bridging, preserving, and promoting cultural heritage.  Our goal is to develop successful Vietnamese students through building stronger connections between schools, families and the community.  To find out more, please contact VFA at 206-760-1573 or email info@vfaseattle.org.
