TO CELEBRATE, THANK OUR MANY SUPPORTERS, & INVITE OTHERS TO INVEST IN OUR WORK

Our Legacy Lives On
With Your Support and Participation!

In 1936, The Arc of King County opened its doors because of the passionate, grassroots efforts of parents of children with developmental disabilities.  For many of those children, life often only offered one path - a life of isolation.  One voice grew to the count of thousands in pursuit of our mission.  Today, we are proud of the fact that most individuals with developmental disabilities live, learn, work and play in our communities.  We wish to thank our many community supporters who have made this possible.

Thanks for Going Green with The Arc!

The Arc produces a monthly electronic newsletter in addition to a paper newsletter called The Advocate.  Our hope (with your help) is to deliver our news efficiently to you while conserving precious resources...trees, paper, time, money & energy!  The more we save, the more we are able to assist people with developmental disabilities and their families.  By receiving our monthly e-newsletter you’ll find a link to the latest Advocate.  Please share this information with your friends and family members who wish to receive our news.  They simply need to visit our website at www.arcofkingcounty.org   On the home page, they’ll see the words “Subscribe to our e-mail newsletter.”  They click the button and add their e-mail address to stay connected!  It’s that simple.

P.S.  If you don’t have e-mail but would like to receive The Advocate, call
206-364-6337.  We’ll gladly mail you a copy.
