Transitioning into adulthood for individuals with developmental disabilities can be challenging to say the least. Barriers to a smooth transition include the lack of adult services, the shortage of service providers as well as funding for services, and the minimal amount of research to help guide us during this stage of the journey. During this lecture, Dr. Stobbe will focus on his experience with the autism spectrum population to highlight the most relevant issues as they relate the transition to adulthood.
