Special Education Law Training Flyer
The training session addresses the rules and regulations in Special Education including: Free Appropriate Public Education, IEPs, Least Restrictive Environment, Specially Designed Instruction, eligibility and evaluations, parent participation, and discipline. Participants will understand how the rules and regulations affect our practices in providing special education programs for our students.
General Information:
Parents and educators are all welcome
Coffee and a pizza lunch will be provided.
Six (6) Clock Hours will be available for a fee of $5.00. You may sign up and pay for clock hours on site.
Registration:
Registration is limited to 40 participants. Registration deadline is 5/19/11.
Cost of Class:
Class offered free of charge through the Washington State Special Education Training for ALL State Needs Project.
