Parents who have children with special needs are confronted with unique planning challenges. Very often, their child will be dependent upon them for life, and an inheritance, given properly, is critical to their well-being. Mark Albertson, Senior Counsel with Albertson Law Group, will present a seminar to teach you how to plan properly.
If you have a
child with special needs, or work with clients who have children with special needs, Mark will be teaching the steps needed to properly plan for the family's estate and financial issues. Included in this seminar will be information on finding the right advisors to help you, creating a life care plan, building a will or living trust, understanding how government benefits work, establishing special needs trusts, determining how to fund the special needs trust, and considering the need for guardianship or guardianship alternatives.
