The next session of the Washington State Legislature begins in January, so it's time to gear up. Please join us for a trip to Olympia to tour the Legislative Building. We will learn about state legislative history, the history of the building and the legislative process.
We will leave from The Arc of King County, 233 Sixth Avenue North, Seattle at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 29, 2009. We will travel in The Arc van and also carpool as needed. The tour of the Legislative Building is from 10 - 11:30. We will have lunch at the cafeteria on the capitol grounds. Please bring money for lunch or bring your own lunch with you, if you prefer. We will leave Olympia around 12:30 and will be back at The Arc by 2 p.m. at the latest.
