“From Inclusion to Belonging: A Practical Theology of Disability and Humanness”
The Palmer Lecture is a School of Theology annual lecture series, which this year features John Swinton, professor of practical theology and pastoral care from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
Dr. Swinton's research and teaching has emerged from his background in nursing, ministry, and health care chaplaincy. His 2012 Palmer Lecture will focus on the intersection of faith and health.
The 2012 Palmer Lecture is presented in partnership with the School of Health Sciences and the School of Psychology, Family & Community, and is free.
