Tips for a Smooth Advocacy Day

Meeting held at: The United Churches
110 Eleventh Avenue SE
Olympia, WA 98501
Advocacy Day offers a way for you to
learn about the legislative process in person.
It’s a tool kit for learning how to make a difference!
What to Expect
Advocacy Day begins
in Olympia at 10:00am every Wednesday during the
legislative session. We start the day with an hour and
a half briefing on current issues (budget, bills and
speakers) and end after an afternoon of advocacy (about
3:00 p.m.). During the afternoon we will meet your
legislator(s), learn about the Olympia campus and watch
hearings or floor activity.
See: Tips for a Smooth
Advocacy Day
Below are the dates
and highlighted topics for each day. The topics only
relate to the briefing. You can come to Olympia on any
