Info: The promotion of opportunities to participate in social, recreational, educational or volunteering activities is one of the values of this community based service to individuals with disabilities. Community Support Service staff assist each participant to develop a personalized plan that will result in success in their chosen goals. Individuals can sample a variety of activities to increase their choice awareness or participate in regularly scheduled community events while individual support systems associated with each opportunity are developed. Whether an individual requires total support to ensure their involvement and safety or needs only initial support to become familiar with the routine, AtWork! services are customized to create those supports and successful outcomes. This division also offers weekend accessible respite tour services. Tour services, funded through participant fees and grant funds, include a six to eight hour day with companionship support touring local recreational, social and civic events.

Info: Camp Parkview is located on beautiful Vashon Island in Washington State. It is held at the Camp Burton Conference Center where there are acres of hiking trails, a private waterfront, heated cabins nestled in the woods, and a rustic dining hall that overlooks Puget Sound. Camp Parkview provides over sixty adults with developmental disabilities a week of fun, a sense of belonging, and an environment of empowerment. Camp Parkview also provides a one day spring camp in April and a fall camp in October .

Info:  Camp Volasuca provides a quality camping experience for adults with developmental disabilities.  Six sessions are offered and arranged by functional level of the participant.  Two weeks serve people that are very independent, and function well in groups.  Two sessions are shorter and designed to serve people with profound disabilities.  The remaining two session are for individuals capable of functioning between the two levels mentioned above.   Intermixed in the summer are three camping sessions for children six to 13 years old.
