Info: Sound Options Group provides large group facilitation, skill
development training and mediation to support communities who are experiencing
conflict. Mediates highly contentious, multi-party institutional disputes, work
with groups to help them identify and solve problems, and teach collaborative
decision-making to help people resolve interpersonal and organizational
conflicts. Sound Options is the state mediation coordinator for special
education disputes.

Washington Protection and Advocacy System (WPAS) is a private, non-profit
organization that has been protecting the rights of people with disabilities in
the state of Washington since 1972. Every state and territory of the
United Sates has an organization like WPAS, designated to provide independent
protection and advocacy services to eligible people with developmental and other
disabilities and/or mental illness. Services include: Information
and Referral, Training and Publications, Legal Representation, System
Impact Litigation, Abuse or Neglect Intervention, System Impact Policy
Initiatives. WPAS' services are free. *Interpreters Available in over
200 languages via AT&T Language Line.
