Community Connections is a resource developed by The Arc of King County. Community Connections links to external web sites in the hope that users will find reference material relevant to people with developmental disabilities and their supporters living in King County, Washington. Because The Arc of King County has no control over linked sites outside the arcofkingcounty.org domain, it cannot be held responsible for content included in them. Inclusion or exclusion of organizations or other information contained in these resources is in no way intended to convey endorsement or espousal of any organization or resource linked through this site. The Arc of King County, King County Developmental Disabilities Division and their partnerships and associate organizations cannot be held responsible for content of linked web sites, e-mail lists, downloads or other online resources accessed via Community Connections online. Content of linked web sites and resources is the sole responsibility of the owners and maintainers of those individual web sites, email lists, or documents.
While we have endeavored to include resources which are relevant and useful to all persons with developmental disabilities and their supporters, Community Connections and Community Connections online are by no means intended to represent a comprehensive or exhaustive list of all available information or support resources.

Forums
Community Connections contains a feature called "Person to Person Forums, which contain threaded discussions and message exchange capability for registered users.. By participating in the Person to Person Forums, users agree to send and receive messages that are both proper and related to the forum topic. The following actions are prohibited:- Defaming, harassing, threatening or
otherwise violating the legal rights of others, including their
privacy (see below);
- Misrepresenting one's person, background, or character;
- Posting any defamatory, infringing, obscene, false, or unlawful material;
- Selling, advertising, or exchanging any goods or services unless expressly allowed;
- Posting any copyrighted material owned by a third party.
Users agree to use Person to Person Forums at their own risk. While monitoring proper use of such forums, The Arc of King County cannot guarantee that violations of the above code will not occur.
Privacy
Community solutions online collects only anonymous information from site visitors. "Anonymous information," includes data that can’t be linked to specific individuals. This site logs user hits, visits, and sessions, including entry page, exit page, pages viewed and time spent viewing pages. This information is used to optimize the utility of this online resource.
Community Connections does not use cookies or other device to covertly record personal information of any visitors.
