Info:  Referrals to Eastside/Bellevue food distribution sites: emergency food supplies of people in crisis hunger situations, including special boxes for infants, homeless people and those with special dietary needs. Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP)

Info:  Emergency assistance (immediately after final shut-off notice) if your income is at or below 200% of the poverty level ($1,400 or less per month for one person, 2/02) you will probably qualify for up to 50% (up to$200) of your bill.  You may qualify only once a year.  Year-round assistance available for some low-income individuals and families.  Contact local agency to apply.

Info:  Meals on Wheels offers a selective menu of 30 lunches and dinners and 5 breakfasts. Meals are adaptable to a variety of special diet needs. To be eligible for Meals on Wheels, persons must: be homebound (requiring assistance to leave home), residents of King County and age 60 or over. The spouse or primary caretaker and/or disabled younger persons living with an eligible senior are also eligible to receive meals. The application process typically takes one week or less.

Info:  Emergency and support services agency for low-income residents of south King County.  It operates emergency shelter, transitional and low income rental housing, has food and clothing banks, sponsors literacy and employment programs, and assists with energy bills. Info:  Fund available to residents who need but cannot afford durable items, such as wheelchairs, appliances, special medical equipment, false teeth and hearing aids.  Neighborhood House is a multi-service organization providing services including bilingual case management, information and assistance to the elderly and disabled, emergency services and client referral services;  citizenship and ESL services;  youth mentoring; Head Start and Early Head Start;  and special needs transportation.

Contracted Care or Financial Services, Attorney-in-Fact under a Power of Attorney, Trustee under Will or Agreement, Probate Administration, Guardianships - Full and Limited, and Financial Management. Financial management services include investment oversight, real estate management, financial planning and consultation, bookkeeping, and bill paying. Any of these services may be combined to meet an individual's needs.
