Info: APSE is committed to Supported Employment and the impact it has on
improving the quality of life of anyone associated with Supported Employment
programs. In order to improve services and make them available to an increasing
number of people who want or need job support, APSE provides technical
assistance and education to people involved with Supported Employment,
encourages service delivery based on sound values and ethics, and is actively
involved in legislative and policy change for Supported Employment. To
accomplish these goals, APSE was formed to provide a strong partnership with
others who share this dedication to Supported Employment.

Info: Nonprofit organization dedicated to the ideal that access to employment should be available to all persons with disabilities, regardless of severity or label. Began in 1999, EFA is a joint effort of a small group of colleagues who feel that it is necessary to clearly advocate for inclusive employment opportunities by assisting systems, organizations, employers, families and persons with disabilities to develop the strategies and values needed for full access to employment. EFA seeks to form partnerships, alliances and other working relationships with those who have similar goals. Provides project management services, sub-contract services, functional research, consulting, technical assistance and training and presentations on the following topics: System change in vocational rehabilitation and developmental disabilities services; one-Stop Career Centers and WIA activities that involve persons with disabilities; personal budgets, choice and control of resources by person with disabilities; discovery-based personal assessments and person-directed employment plans; individually-tailored job development; supported employment including supported self-employment; planning and implementing non-work life activities that compliment a working life; employment policy development and research.

Info: EDI conducts research and provides continuing education and
technical assistance on many aspects of disability in the workplace. Since 1968,
researchers and practitioners at the Cornell ILR School with expertise in
disability have helped companies, labor organizations, government agencies,
schools, and communities throughout the United States and abroad to accommodate
and integrate individuals with disabilities. The EDI team consults with policy
makers, disability advocates, and rehabilitation program professionals.
