When our sons and daughters with disabilities begin to enter adulthood, there are many things to think about: guardianship, SSI, DVR, Medicaid Personal Care, transition services. Come to our February 4 Workshop to learn what you need to make the process easier. More information here.

Upcoming Events

Free concert tickets for individuals with disabilities and their families: Great Western Community Concert Association has generously offered to provide free tickets to individuals with disabilities and their family members to attend a series of 5 concerts in South King County. Check out the concert lineup here. In order to access the tickets, you must RSVP to The Arc of King County @ (206) 364-6337 or email info@arcofkingcounty.org.  Please include your name, phone number, and number of tickets requested in your email.

Reports and Reading

New Report Out! The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council and the Division of Developmental Disabilities recently completed a survey of DDD's No Paid Services Caseload (NPS), which consists of individuals who are eligible for, but are not receiving, services from DDD. The NPS Report summarizes the survey and focus group results. Read this call to action on the DDC website.

Advocacy Day takes place every Wednesday during the Legislative Session. Each Advocacy Day will focus on a specific current issue indicated below. Please join us! Your voice matters!
